The situation
Wassim 3al Ba7er sits on the Anfeh coast with a strong local reputation and no digital front door. Reservations came through calls and Instagram messages, which meant missed bookings on busy days and no record of anything. The brief was a website that looked like the place and a booking flow that fit how the restaurant actually works — not a system anyone would need training to use.
What we built
- The restaurant's site: menu with dishes and pricing, gallery, story, location and contact
- A table reservation flow storing every booking in a real database instead of a mailbox
- Automatic email confirmation to the guest at the moment of booking
- A WhatsApp notification to the owner's business number carrying the booking details — the restaurant reads bookings where it already reads everything else
How we approached it
We designed around WhatsApp, not around a dashboard.
The owner was never going to log into an admin panel during service. Routing bookings into WhatsApp through Meta's Cloud API meant adoption required no change in habit — the deciding design choice on the project.
We kept the guest side and the owner side on separate rails.
Guests get email, the restaurant gets WhatsApp, and both fire independently so one failing never silently loses a booking.
